Perfect “gateway “ violet!
I saw this violet on a friend’s Instagram and had to have it. He mentioned that it had been blooming continuously for over 9 months. I was a little skeptical but purchased one anyway. It is a super bloomer and so easy care. Now I’m looking for more to add!
Loyalty, peace and hope
I have Rob's Boolaroo and I love this violet, literally. Mine became the more pink color, not sure if color is associated with PH or UV lighting or what. Boolaroo blooms well and they uplift the day for both my husband and I; they (and our plant area where they live) are the first thing we look at in the morning and the last thing we look at before bed. I bought these violets when I needed to feel hope in the world and with Rob's kind and generous help, I learned how to keep them growing well and never stop growing myself, just like the violets. Shipping is impressive, too. I do not hesitate to give my highest recommendation.
My favorite violet
Vigorous grower, tumbling stems of speckled pink streaked with shades of blue flowers. Love to give to friends. If I could only have one Violet this would be it.
Very pretty
Very healthy plant and came in bloom. Pictures are deceiving!! I was looking for a purple/blue trailing violet. It looks like the second/middle pic. I have no idea what the first and third pi’s are of but they aren’t this plant. They should be deleted.
What a Beauty!
Rob,s Boolaroo is such a true beauty. Three weeks later, after I got this plant, it started blooming with beautiful light pink with a little blue fantasy. I bought one a while ago and gave one to my sister. Hers is blooming beautifully on her windowsill. I am so happy I found violet barn. They have such beautiful violets and plants and trailers. Cute plant, inaccurate pictures
Came very healthy and already in bloom! The second picture is more representative of what the flowers actually look like. The flowers are a blush pink with blue flecks not blue or purple like they appear in first and third images. I think it would be good if they adjusted the white balance on those pictures to be more accurate to the plant or took new photos in better lighting/using a mid grey card so the colors look correct. Overall though, I am happy with the plant.
Just OK
After 3 years, the plant has grown but the flowers remain sparse, even with plenty of light. As with most Violet Barn photos, they do not match the plant (for this one, they show 3 different colors of flowers). The flowers are definitely not double. They a single pale lavender-pink with multiple small purple spots--but not as full nor as bright as the photo of the pink-flowering plant. It's been interesting to grow a trailing violet, but unfortunately it has turned me against buying any more.

Ordered 4 plants, including the fun little Rob's Boolaroo and cannot believe how healthy all 4 plants are! I've never mail ordered plants that looked THIS good before and am amazed. Just can't wait to watch them grow, this little guy arrived with blooms all over him, just gorgeous. I will definitely be ordering more plants!
Lovely Little Plant!
I got Robs Boolaroo on my first order a little over a month ago. This one came with little buds that have bloomed into these absolutely lovely little flowers - lavender with bluish speckles. And the leaves are so tiny and pretty, I’d love this plant even without the beautiful blossoms.

This plant is a consistent bloomer and requires little to remain happy. The little blooms are speckled and darling. I highly recommend this little friend.
My favorite violet EVER
I've been growing standard violets for decades -- so I love violets. On a whim -- in the dead of winter in February I ordered Rob's Boolaroo. It arrived in terrible shape - but not the fault of Violet Barn -- the winter was very harsh and I was impetuous with my order. A few leaves survived the winter shipping on the plant regenerated quickly over the weeks. Then the most dainty little blooms started -- and kept coming and coming and coming. It became like a monster scoop of purple/pink variegated ice cream and continued to replace the spent blossoms with new blossoms for the next couple months. Fantastic. I don't know if there are other trailers this awesome -- but I'm going to be buying a bunch to find out.

It’s my first trailing violet. It arrived in bloom and has stayed in bloom since June! It is my favorite violet in my collection.
Healthy Young Starter Plant
I received my order from Violet Barn and was very pleased with the plants received. I am new to semi-mini trailers and am trying these out for the first time. The plant I received is very healthy, in good condition and should grow and bloom beautifully. I'm excited about adding more semi-mini's to my collection since I've grown standards for many years! Violet Barn does an excellent job of growing and packing their plants for shipment. Very Pleased!

This plant has been so tolerant of me learning how to grow trailing African violets. Honestly, I might buy another! It didn’t bloom for a month or two, but I expected that. Once I understood the watering and fertilizer needs it has been super easy, blooming consistently. Great for beginners in trailing African violets!!

Continuous bloomer
A very fast grower and blooms continually with the cutest little delicate flowers. Was horrified one day to see that something had eaten little holes in about half the leaves. Could not find whatever did the eating. Trimmed the damaged leaves and crossed my fingers. This little plant came roaring back and is blooming again. One tough little plant.

Received this trailer as my “ freebie “. It arrived this afternoon on my front porch. It was extremely well packaged. This and the plant I ordered came just as it was sent. Not even a leaf was broken. I count 17 buds or flowers already. It is a gorgeous plant. It is now under a grow light until acclimated and I see more growth. I am so excited. A very delicate looking bloomer!
Even though m plant is small right now it really gives a great show when its blooms! People always ask where I get my violets? I live outside Dallas, TX and no one sells violets. They are very hare to find and when you do find them they usually die within 90 days? I have raised violets for over 30 years. I do not have that problem with The Violet Barn violets. And no one has the color options that are offered here.
Dainty and Cheerful
I love seeing Rob's Boolaroo first thing in the morning when I sit down to work. Beautiful little lavender purple flowers with little speckles all over it. It's easy to please and take care of. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

My Rob’s Boolaroo was delivered in great shape. It’s growing kind of slowly thus far (~2 months) but hoping it continues forging ahead. It’s been continuously in bloom since it arrived.
My all time favorite trailer
Through decades of growing African violets, there are certain plants that I never tire of and must be in my collection. Rob's Boolaroo is way up at the top of the list. It is one African violet that I know instantly, without having to look at the name. It branches and shapes beautifully on its own, with little assistance, and blooms and blooms. The blooms last, too. Love it!
Rob's Boolaroo cutie!
Oh my goodness, this little guy is so adorable! He arrived in perfect condition and so lovingly wrapped. Upon unwrapping him, he so pleasantly surprised me with lots of flowers and buds! The flowers look just like the picture, pink with purple splashes. The foliage is a very nice medium green with heart-shaped leaves. I'm in love! Thank you so much!

Having a hard time getting all the steps done to post a review! Got right this time I think. This Trailing Violet shouts "I'm a trailer". One doesn't have to do much with it to get it to grow great. It's a good plant to enter into an African Violet show.

There is just something so special about this little trailer. So many fantasy blooms. A great grower & bloomer. Would not be without this one in my collection.
Disappointing
This plant is "OK," but after a year, with plenty of light, it looks nothing like the photo. Only a few sparse flowers, so there's nothing special about it. Maybe a few years from now when it's bigger?

Can't go wrong with Boolaroo!
I am so thankful to have been given this gorgeous heavy bloomer after I killed my first African Violet by bottom watering it when it was too young. This Boolaroo grew so fast with an astonishing amount of flowers year round. Boolaroo is an eyecatcher, I repeat-- all year round-- and everyday when my husband and I stare at it it lifts ones mood, bringing peace and connection to nature. Rob is sincerely kind and he went out of his way to give me suggestions after I killed my first African Violet-- Rob's genuine concern and expertise was very much appreciated!!! The other semi-miniature trailer I purchased, Gundaroo, is still alive but it stayed very small compared to Boolaroo (even though I treated the two exactly the same) and I can't get Gundaroo to flower; I will be patient.

Ready to burst into bloom upon delivery
I must confess-VB violets are my newest obsession- one started at the worst time of year, winter. Yet through all this the plants arrive- happy healthy and just like Rob’s Bookaroonjust ready to burst into bloom! The plants are so incredibly robust and healthy. It’s like they don’t realize it is frigid and cold outside that they have travelled to get to my door!!!That is how incredibly well they are packaged. No broken leaves or flowers. Love these Violets!
So Pretty in Pink!
This has been a vigorous plant. It arrived with buds and hasn’t stopped blooming since. It is definitely PINK and really isn’t showing any fantasy color since it mostly seems to blend in with the pink. After the first blooming cycle it might be producing darker coloration of the fantasy. It is a good strong trailer, and you can’t go wrong with buying this one.

A Lovely Trailing Violet
My order of two Rob’s Boolaroo trailing violets arrived expertly packed, and each delicate plant was in excellent condition—healthy, perfectly shaped, and individual plants very securely wrapped. The plants arrived loaded with buds all intact. It’s now three months later and the violets are still covered in blooms that are so colorful, and both plants have doubled in size. Rob’s Boolaroo is a vigorous grower that keeps on blooming. One of my favorites!

It's a trooper
My first violet, it has stuck with me through thick and thin. It's been over watered, under watered, and been a trooper while I learned to care for it properly. Years later it is still always in bloom and is one of the gems of my (now huge) collection.
Rob's trailers
I have a few of Rob's trailing babies, and though hard to pick a favorite this one is high on the list. Boolaroo arrived with blooms and has been blooming non-stop since. She is a beauty. The bloom color is spot on with the first of the 2 pictures. Would recommend this little one all the way.
Whimsical. Waterfalls of flowers over pleasantly rounded foliage.
This is a very whimsical, almost delicate looking small violet.The leaves are pleasingly shaped and it seems to want to put out abundant waterfalls of little soft pink blooms with purple flecking as much as it can. The blooms are particularly appealing as the blooms first come out above the foliage and ripen and during early bloom. I originally bought it as a random giving it a try buy and I think this one is a keeper. I wonder what I can do with it?

Constant Blooms!
This is my first trailing violet. I received Boolaroo as a seller’s choice and couldn’t be happier! It arrived with a few blooms and has just continued to grow and bloom everyday. I have it hanging in a little silver cloth planter in my bedroom window and enjoy it being the first thing I see when I wake up and the last think before bed. It’s such a happy little plant. Trailing violet
I like it and it already has bloom when I received the plants. Very healthy and packed secured. I just need to make sure not to overwatering it and provide enough light.
Constant blooming mini violet
Adorable mini violet is a mound of profuse green leaves and delicate pink flowers. The jewel is in constant bloom under my plant lights! I just repoted again and started another little Bob's Boolaroo in a pot with sandwich bag on top. It now has another leaf! I will soon have two of these adorable African violets in my collection. Fast growing, so many leaves and flowers it's becoming my favorite.

Never stops blooming
I ordered this for my mom for Mother's Day last year and got a chance to see it in person in November. She said it arrived with flowers and has never stopped blooming. I didn't realize I was sending her a trailer as her first AV, but she has it in a self-watering container on her coffee table and it is growing beautifully. It is a petite gem of a plant!

My all time favorite trailer
I happen to be addicted to trailing African violets and there are many varieties that I consider "must haves". At the top of my list is Rob's Boolaroo. It is continually smothered in blooms and always has a pleasing shape -- no need to constantly pinch and fuss to get a nice, bushy plant. The leaf shape is also appealing. When I see Rob's Boolaroo on a show table (and there are always some in every violet show, large or small), I don't need to read the card to know the name. It stands out every time.

One of my favorite trailers
I bought my first Bob's Boolaroo a year ago and it has been loaded with violets. Last years order was a 5 pick, your choice, and they have been blooming constantly. I ordered five more trailing violets (your pick) earlier this month and all are doing well. I love the trailers, they are so easy to grow using the self watering pots that you sell, making them almost foolproof. I have done business with the Violet Barn for years and you never fail to please.

Out of the many mini african violets I have purchased from the violet barn, I think this is my favorite. It is so easy to take care of (I use wicking) and is in bloom constantly. The little pink flowers just brighten the area they are in.

I have grown Rob's Boolaroo for the past 5 years. It is my favorite trailer for show because it is so easy to grow. If haven't tried a trailer this is the one to grow!
Fantastic Little Plant
This is one trailer that I received when I ordered the special with 5 plants. It is a great bloomer, it always has blooms on it. Super easy to care for, I wick my plants and it is working out great. I love looking at it every day with its constant blooms. This is a must if you are a beginner like I am. Their packaging was great and plants arrived in great condition. I recently ordered several trailers, and I love them so much. Rob's Boolaroo often has two dozen tiny pink and blue blossoms on it. Visitors have asked if it is a silk plant. It always has flowers on it. Makes me happy just to look at it.

This was the assorted African violet that was picked out to go with my order. So sweet! It's in bloom with many buds. Like my Vanilla trail it was lovely packed with care and because of my ship choice it still came happy healthy and green. I've never had much luck with full grown violets so getting them as starts will be much better for me to manage Since I forgot to rate the Vanilla trail I will rate both of the plants as a 5 star rating. Great service I'm now making out my wish list. You have a new customer for life!
Amazing plant!
I first received this plant a little over a year ago -- it was a young, healthy plant in a 2" cup. Fast forward to today -- it is still healthy, but overflows with leaves and flowers in its larger pot. The pictures are 100% accurate for what you can expect once this plant grows up a bit! Absolutely recommended if you love growing avs or are just starting out.

Beautiful blooms
The blooms on this violet are beautiful. I would describe the color as a very pale cool pink, with violet dots and markings, which from a distant make the blooms look violet. I made the mistake of overwatering my little plant and it almost died, but it came back amazingly and it is just a joy to watch.
A Little Beauty!
I can't wait for Boolaroo (I wonder where the name came from?) to be back in stock. This was my first trailing or miniature violet and I wasn't sure what to expect. The little violet had a great shape and its proportion was just like a standard violet. It bloomed well and stayed neat with very little care. I left it too close to a window and a power outage during a sever winter storm killed it. I will be getting one or two more as soon as it is back in stock.

I have quite a few trailers and this one is my favorite. It is super reliable. It grows and shapes really well and blooms it's little heart out. It earned me a rosette for best trailer at my last show. I will always have this one in my collection.

I had owned the plant, but it only bloomed once. Foliage was great for about a year and started fading away. Would definitely say though it is a good little violet for the right person to care for.

My Boolaroo color looks more like a Rob's Gundaroo. Very pale! Many blooms, just night the right color. Disappointing after lovingly caring for it for 5 months. Lovely plant, but this was for a gift ad now it's mine and I'll have to start over for the gift.
Easy To Grow Trailer
I started my African Violet hobby (addiction?) back in 2006 and my first order included Robs Boolaroo from the Violet Barn. It's classified semi-miniature, but it can quickly outgrow that class. Keep it well-groomed and the almost constant blue fantasy blooms can be enjoyed throughout the year.

This violet has yet to bloom for me, but the leaves are profuse and are starting to trail. This is my first trailing violet and I hope the blooms are as pretty.

I love the foliage on this plant! It trails nicely, and the fantasy on the pink blooms is super cool. My blooms look more pink, as opposed to the blue in the picture, but I still adore this plant!

I ordered twelve trailers some months back. Boolaroo is a stand out. It's tidy, self-shaping, and has leaves that look like satin when the lights hit it. The flowers are outstanding freckle faced, and long lasting.

I received leaves to put down of this adorable trailer, in about 6 weeks, to my great surprise a bloom stalk appears, then a few days later the leaves show up. It is growing into a beautiful trailer!! Also, I have ordered from several violet suppliers and all except Violet Barns have come in a total mess of dirt and plants, Violet Barns came thru beautifully!!

Beautiful & Constant Bloomer
I had Robs Boolaroo for about five years and it was never not covered in blooms. You do have to rotate the plant every few days, so it grows & blooms evenly, if growing in a window, but that's true of all. I loved this plant so much, just looking at its happy little demeanor, and cute little blooms would brighten my day:) after I lost mine to unfortunate circumstances I had to order another! Thank you so much for all the wonderfully performing plants that come so perfectly packaged!

#1 I finally found out how to sign in. #2 I received my 12 Plants today it was very prompt. #3 I Found the packaging to be excellent. #4 I Found the Plants to be in very good condition. #5 I only received one in bloom. #6 I hope I did not make the wrong decision in ordering these plants because althought I know what a miniature is these are so, so small and tender if they survive I will be a believer and a Happy Customer. I cannot believe I will be that customer who's plants wont survive I read many reviews and although some said how small they were I never knew they would be this small. I hope the hype will live to his name. JUST SAYING WISH ME LUCK.

Great little plant
I picked up my Boolaroo at a local african violet society plant sale. It began flowering once I brought it home and has stayed happy and healthy. Lovely flowers, just as pictured. I've only had it for a couple of months now but it seems like a great plant.

I just LOVE this little trailer. The foliage is so well behaved and the cute fantasy blooms just bring a smile to your face when you see it. I have mine in a large sundae cup and it has 4 large heads. All 4 heads bloom at once and it is just a sight to behold. Highly recommend; you can't go wrong.

Does it Ever Stop Blooming?
I received this mini some time ago. It arrive as a tiny with four leaves. Within a week buds began to form. Soon the entire plant was covered in flowers. I've never seen so many flowers burst from such a small plant all at one time. Buds are still forming, flowers seem to last longer than most and one new leaf arrived. How can this little plant just keep blooming without a rest? It will be interesting to see how long it actually continues. What a great choice.

I love Rob's Boolaroo. I really enjoy watching it grow on my windowsill. It is neglected compared many plants owned by dedicated AV growers, but it blooms and blooms. I've been a big fan of Rob's trailers for many years, but my Boolaroo is a favorite and recommended.

My Rob's Boolaroo has blooming on and off in my windowless office for four or five years now. It is not even directly under fluorescent lights. It grows effortlessly and blooms several times a year. I have brought crowns home to start one under the light stands several times but have not been successful. I expect it does not like the cool temperatures in my growing area.

Bought this plant a year ago and it won First Place at the Ky State Fair. I bought another plant..forget the name..but a trailer also..and it won last year. It sits in a window facing east and then I moved it in closer and it still gets light from the room as it has skylights.....will continue to buy these beautiful plants from the Violet Barn.

Beautiful, great bloomer and hardy! I've had Boolaroo for years and it has survived despite periods of not the best care. And it keeps on blooming. It's one plant I have to always have. The proficient blooms are simply cheery.

My all time favorite trailer
Rob's Boolaroo has both lovely, plentiful blooms and exquisitely shaped leaves that makes it a standout even in a large violet collection. It is distinctive and I don't need a tag to identify it. I've grown it in the south, in the north, under fluorescent lights and in a bright window and it performs consistently well. It branches easily with minimal pinching, can be kept small, or allowed to fill a pot.

This semi-trailer has bloomed since the day it arrived two years ago. It likes to be groomed and in bright light and has been super easy to grow. It has grown slowly and steadily to a nice 9" diameter plant covered in blooms. I would recomend this plant to the novice and to a person in a small living area who wants to have flowers and a beautiful plant. All the plants I have purchased from Violet Barn have flurished.
